I grew up in New Orleans, LA. Summers were spent on the Mississippi and Alabama Gulf Coasts. My heart is still in those places and I visit often. In my teens, I was given a fully manual film camera with one lens and no instruction booklet. I have rarely been without a camera since.
My first passion was photographing children. Then I progressed to nature and landscapes. Later I was doing a lot of travel and combined that with my love of photography to capture images of cultures and peoples around the world.
Today I live in Highlands, NC.
I will photograph just about anything and I will travel just about anywhere to shoot it. I still shoot a lot of children and families, engagements and head shots. And if I see a good sunset coming on, I will head to the nearest ridge-top to capture that too.
